Topeka, KS, Sunday, April 17, 2016– The longest continuously running jazz concert series in the nation, Topeka Jazz Workshop, presents the final concert of the 47th annual season with Stan Kessler’s K.C. Jazz All-Stars. The Sunday, April 17th concert will begin at 3:00pm at the Downtown Topeka Ramada Hotel and Convention Center – 420 SE 6th Street, Topeka, Kansas.

Once again, we are featuring a group of outstanding kc jazz artists, debuting under the name of Stan Kessler’s K.C. Jazz All-Stars.  Leading the group will be Stan Kessler on trumpet with vocalist Monique Danielle, Matt Otto on tenor sax, Roger Wilder on piano, Jeff Harshbarger on bass and Brian Steever on drums.   We are so lucky to be able to have so many fine jazz artists from Kansas City on our doorstep.  We love featuring them on our program and they love getting to play for our Topeka jazz concert series.

We’ll be offering a special opportunity for those who may not be Topeka jazz concert series members, but would like to enjoy this concert, with a special single-concert admission of only $25.  If you’ve always wanted to give us a try, this concert would be a great time to do that.

We will also be announcing our 48th consecutive concert season at this concert.  We’ve got another terrific 9-concert season lined-up for 2016-17 with artists that will raise-the-roof.  Members will be able to renew their memberships at our April 17 concerts and guests can be first-in-line to purchase a brand new membership.
